All I had to do was renaming the files ('zz' instead of 'z' so that they load last), deleting the 'guis/main_menu.gui', 'autoexec.cfg', 'default.cfg', 'def/f' and 'def/movable_f' in 'zzpack001.pk4', and copy the 2 new files in the absoluteHD folder. A grenade can kill you as easily as it could kill any mid-rank enemy. Increased explosions damages and radius. Changed almost every weapon sound so that they resemble real ones. Changed Rocket ammo & rocket launcher world models so that they fit with the new rocket launcher. Changed the way ejected shells are handled (excepting for the shotgun brass) Changed many weapon meshes position/rotation and also done minor enhancements to some of them, so that they look better.

They are lethal and play a vital role for ammo conservation. Changed many damage properties, where enemies with body armor like the security guards take less damage in the chest, as a mere example. (Idea inspired by BrutalDoom, RGH and the first Doom games themselves) Its light is very short-ranged, it uses no bateries and can be toggled ON and OFF at will. There are also 2 other mods which are based, based upon SEF that have had a lot of hard work and effort put in, Back To LA and First Responders, to shorten it, BTLA is more focused on realistic gun play and is based in the 90s, while FR has more focus on other elements like introducing partial door opening, and walking while leaning. I'm probably gonna get downvoted for this, but I personally suggest you play the base game for at least 1 mission to get the hang of the game, and then move to SWAT Elite Force v7.0, it improves on MANY aspects of the game and is basically the default for a lot of players, most if not all don't even go back to vanilla SWAT 4 after trying it, it also has speech recognition which lets you speak into your microphone to order the AI officers, you can get immersed with it a lot more.
